Eleanor Maxwell Speech Language Therapist for Adults and Children
About

Fourteen years listening carefully, and helping people be heard.

Kia ora, I’m Eleanor Maxwell.

I provide warm, evidence-based speech and language therapy for children, adults, and whānau.

With 14 years of experience across hospital, community, and charitable settings, I’ve had the privilege of supporting a wonderfully diverse range of clients through their communication and swallowing journeys.

While my background is deeply rooted in adult neurological rehabilitation, I am equally passionate about paediatric therapy. I believe that whether you are regaining a voice or finding it for the first time, the goal is the same: meaningful connection.

When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll likely find me keeping up with my two energetic daughters or in the garden — trying to convince my vegetables to grow as well as my clients do!

My mission is to help every individual—regardless of age—unleash their vibrant communication potential and stay connected to the people and places they love.

"The first therapist who actually explained what was happening, what we were working on, and why. Our son made more progress in three months than the previous year."
